An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity
- Martin Luther King Jr.
Nancy founded The Red Chair as a platform for raising awareness and bringing people together around topical issues.
The essence of this platform is to push boundaries and raise consciousness, while striving to make a difference where possible.
The Red Chair has worked with filmmakers to facilitate screenings around often challenging socio-political issues. The Red Chair has also paved the way for numerous events in the realm of social impact, emotional intelligence and wellness.
The Red Chair supports Foundations and Programs such as the CR Hope Foundation and Healthy Breast Foundations Program, which was designed to educate women about breast health and helps to facilitate community classes in Beyond Addiction, an internationally recognized recovery program for addiction. The Red Chair has run several wellness retreats in both Asia and Africa as well as teach in the less privileged communities of Palestine and Jordan. In addition, Nancy develops mindfulness initiatives for both public and private sector institutions as well as schools.
